Since Donald Trump won the American presidential race on November 8th with 306 electoral (counting the three states not yet awarded: AK, AZ, and WI) votes, social media has been swarmed by mainstream media breakdowns and suicide hotline numbers. Not even kidding about that last part. What’s more important to think about what this election means for America and what the possibilities of the future hold. I know there are a lot of people who think it’s the apocalypse. There always is after every major election, but here me out. President-elect Donald Trump won’t take office for about two months. This is time to reflect, to listen, and to have genuine discussions with people.
In his winning speech last night, Mr. Trump extended his hand out to everyone, including those who were previously his nemesis. He said,
“Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division; have to get together. To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people. It’s time. I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be president for all Americans, and this is so important to me. For those who have chosen not to support me in the past, of which there were a few people I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so that we can work together and unify our great country. As I’ve said from the beginning, ours was not a campaign, but rather an incredible and great movement made up of millions of hard-working men and women who love their country and want a better, brighter future for themselves and for their families. It’s a movement comprised of Americans from all races, religions, backgrounds and beliefs who want and expect our government to serve the people, and serve the people it will. Working together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream. I’ve spent my entire life and business looking at the untapped potential in projects and in people all over the world. That is now what I want to do for our country.”
Trump is interested in working for every American, representing every American, and creating opportunities for every American. I implore all those who are upset or angry or confused to review the information exposed over the last few months to understand why Trump won and then to unite with fellow Americans to create opportunities for everyone in a civil and just way.
To get you started, here are a few key things to consider with the Trump win:
The American People Said NO To Corruption
No, America did not vote against Hillary Clinton because she was a woman. They voted against her because she was the most corrupt politician to ever run for president in the history of the United States.
From the money laundering scheme of the Clinton Foundation to the DNC leaked emails that showed a rigged primary and ‘public vs. private’ policies, Hillary Clinton was never for the people. She was the ultimate establishment insider looking for only ways to improve her wealth and power. Through this election cycle, one of the biggest things Trump has done is bring the corruption of our political system to the surface. It wasn’t a Democrat only corruption, but a one party system with two names to give the facade of choice. We saw establishment news stations, both ‘liberal’ and ‘conservative’ try to destroy America through lies and false information. We saw GOP and Democratic politicians take shot after false shot, talk down to, and even lie to the American people again and again.
Mr. Trump called these things to the surface, courageously powered through the attacks to show the average American the things he had seen happening behind closed doors. When people were called to investigate and make a decision about the corruption, this election showed they the American people don’t want it.
There Can Be True Unity
Listen to so many of the talk shows that accept callers and you will find families of lifelong democrats who said they switched and voted for Trump. You will find people of every demographic saying how they normally voted one way, but because of Trump’s message, they switched from what they normally voted for. While the mainstream media has aggressively fought that Trump’s rhetoric was one of division, if you look at the population of his rallies, if you look at the people who have joined him in support, you will see people across the political spectrum standing behind him, you will see ethnic, religious, sexuality, and every type American demographic standing behind him because he wasn’t targeting what made them different, but what made us all the same. We are all Americans. We all love our country. We all want a better life for our families, our children, and our futures.
America Now Has an Expert in Business & Finance to Help Fix the Budget
One of the things that has the establishment the most frightened is that Mr. Trump has trained and worked in finance and business for all of his life. He knows how to balance a budget, he knows how to be most effective while remaining under budget. Just look at what he spent on his campaign versus what Hillary spent on her campaign. Look at what he spent in the primary versus what his opponents spent in the primary. He isn’t only known for hiring the right people in the right places to build them and the company up, but he is known for remaining, “ahead of time and under budget.”
Because of this skill, if he negotiates well with our allies, he could lead America into a new golden 20s. He could help lower our national debt, create better, higher paying jobs for Americans, and, what frightens establishment the most, he could create independence from the government for citizens. He wants to see everyone succeed. He wants to create opportunities and if he is able to pull of what he has said in his economic policies, everyone who wants a better life and job will be able to make it happen.
Government will become smaller and the independence of the people will be restored.
This Is Just a New Beginning
Look, it’s not easy losing the race, especially when you’re so full of false rhetoric you don’t have any real idea of what someone stands for. Still I’ve only seen people who dislike Mr. Trump going back to buzzwords and not actually referencing his policies in the slightest. I implore anyone still using, “racist, sexist, buzzword” to go and actually investigate his policies. Listen to something other than HuffPost, Buzzfeed, WaPo and other MSM outlets. Investigate what people saw in him and you will understand why he won.
It might hurt now, like taking the bottle away from an alcoholic, but the world isn’t over. You’ll see. Americanism will be our credo, and you, as an American, are in Trump’s plan for greatness. You, as our allies, are in Trump’s plan for greatness.
God bless America and bring on January 20th for the real change will not happen until then.
